What it does

The head of legal needs one screen that answers “what’s in flight, what’s expiring, what’s missing.” This view reads every contract record in Ironclad, every pending envelope in DocuSign, and matches each to a customer account in Salesforce for ARR context. The dashboard surfaces auto-renew deadlines inside 30 days, missing DPAs by jurisdiction (EU first), and stalled signatures — with one-click route into the right downstream recipe (msa-redline-check, vendor-risk-brief, contract-bundle-route).

How it works

  1. Pull contracts. Ironclad — every active contract, status, renewal dates, jurisdiction, auto-renew flags.
  2. Pull signatures. DocuSign — pending envelopes with days outstanding.
  3. Pull accounts. Salesforce — match contracts to customer accounts for ARR context.
  4. Compose. Roll up to KPIs + jurisdiction breakdown + 30-day expiring table; mirror to Notion.

Setup

  • Connect a CLM (Ironclad).
  • Connect an esign tool (DocuSign).
  • Connect a CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot).
  • Connect Notion for the portfolio snapshot.
  • Configure jurisdiction policy — which markets require DPAs, what the EU residency rules are.

Variations

  • Add a “renewal-leverage” column — pair the renewal date with the account’s last NPS / health score to flag tough renewals early.
  • Roll up by counterparty (instead of by contract) when you want a vendor-side view.
  • Pipe Red-grade pending contracts to the GC for sign-off automatically.
