# KPI narrative

A reusable skill the "Draft the board and investor pack" recipe pulls in. Add it once and every agent on the team can use it.

Write one short paragraph of context for each headline metric, not just the number.

## Method
1. Pull each metric — revenue, burn, runway, pipeline, win rate — from its source system.
2. Compare the current value against last month's value.
3. State the direction and size of the move.
4. State the likely driver, citing the source data behind it.
5. State what it means for next month in one sentence.
6. Keep each paragraph to a few sentences, one metric at a time.

## Rules
- Every figure must trace back to its source system; never write an inferred number.
- State direction and magnitude before explaining the cause.
- Mark an uncertain driver as "likely" or "unclear" — never present a guess as fact.
- Never write a paragraph that repeats the number without adding context.

## Output
One short paragraph per KPI — value, move vs last month, driver, and forward look — in the order the deck presents them.
